Field of Light: Avenue of Honour; an immersive art installation by Bruce Munro of 16,000 light spheres ‘planted’ under the trees of the Avenue of Honour at Mt Clarence. A homage to the Anzacs of the Great War, and to those who have fought in every conflict since.
FORM and the City of Albany invite you to attend the public opening of the Field of Light: Avenue of Honour.
The Public launch of the Field of Light: Avenue of Honour by Bruce Munro is FREE
Due to restricted parking at the Albany Heritage Park, a FREE bus shuttle service will be run between the Albany Entertainment Centre, Toll Place and Field of Light: Avenue of Honour, between 4.00pm and 10.00pm, Thursday 4 October. Please use the drop down menu provided to booking your welcome ticket and FREE bus service.
Access to Forts Rd for visitors wanting to drop off passengers at the entrance at Apex Dve will be provided. Alternatively, you may access Mount Clarence by foot from the Middleton Boardwalk or from the centre of town.
Official proceedings for the Public Launch of the Field of Light: Avenue of Honour commences at 6pm, so be sure to arrive early!
